Katherine Hollengreen, DVM:
Dr Hollengreen graduated from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College Of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. She particularly enjoys purebred dog breeding and neonatal care as her family had a show dog kennel while she was growing up. On some of her days off from VVERC, she is a relief veterinarian for a daytime practice. She feels that the opportunity to practice general in addition to emergency medicine makes her a well rounded veterinarian. In her time off she enjoys long walks with her three Border Collies, playing with her multiple cats, working on her farmhouse and spending time with family and close friends.
Jean Loonam, DVM
Dr. Loonam received her Bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech in 1996 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennesse in 2000. She completed a small animal rotating internship at the Regional Veterinary Referral Center in 2001, followed by a soft tissue surgical fellowship at the University of Tennessee in 2002.
